Go for the wrapped baffle and it sounds great. I have em both on my LRS and Bagger, Id hardly call em obnoxiously loud.
Id guess the others you heard were the perforated baffle. Alot of guys with M8s get the loud baffle in hopes of getting the TC sound from a M8.
Keep in mind alot of D&D cans contact the axle bolt with extended shocks. My Bobcat can lightly touches the can with 13.5 shocks on full extension. Just fyi.
Good deal. Thanks for the opinion.
I'm running stock shocks as of currently. I like the look. If I do upgrade them, it'll only be 1/2" taller just for some extra suspension/setup since I'm a big boy.
Lol, by the way, you can multi quote responses so you don’t look like a lunatic with 9 posts in a row! ;-)
I normally do, but in my mind it was too much c&p'ing, so, I just stuck with that route, plus with everything I wanted to say, thought it might be best to do them individually so nothing would get lost in translation and possibly looked over.
But...I am a bit of a lunatic, so there is that!
Edit: I've never noticed the actual Multi Quote tab. Shitballs!! HAHA. I always quote one, copy, back out, quote the next one, paste the first quote, copy those two, and so on and so forth. Hmm. Now I feel stupid. Lol
I have both and it's really hard to determine which one will out perform the other... They both sound awesome and quality is excellent as well... Keep in mind they are very loud and I know the guys I ride with don't like my Fat Cat... They all cry about it but I love it.. Keep in mind that these exhausts are for high performance motors.. So if you don't do the rest of the motor what's the sense of a pipe.. Don't know much about tuners cuz I'm a carb guy, but I do hear the PCV is a really good tuner.. So if you're going to go with tuners pipes and a cam, Don't forget about heads and a better air intake and possible pistons to drive up the compression to make the cam work.. That's a high performance motor..
Hey I hate to resurrect a 4 year old chat but I'm trying to decide between the lsr and fat cat. I have an Evo stroker built by hillside and was hoping 98hotrodfatboy could weigh in a little more or send me a message to chat about options.
@97FLHR
Jump over to the welcome thread introduce yourself and post a few more times till you get up to at least five posts and then I think I can PM you (private message) and we'll discuss what you got and go from there..ok? I've done a real lot of business with Scott in the past.. I know his way of thinking and I know his builds pretty good, especially when it comes to the Evos...
