Also.....a WG or FatBob just cannot carry enough on it for a long ride over many nights. That's why they call the "Touring Bikes" after all. I wouldn't hesitate to travel a few states away on my FatBob though......In fact I plan to head out long distance for a week or so with it...... trailering it in my enclosed bike trailer and pull it with my RV , and set up at campsites along the way

Yeah, baggers definitely can haul more.


But the best bike for touring is clearly a Sportster:

WG here and yes I can carry enough over multiple nights. Might just be you.

Yes, Boss Bags, their "30 can ones" and I have a bag that goes over the backrest. If I want to over pack for 2 weeks I could strap down a gym bag on the passenger seat.
