NO When did it become Dyna Death Wobble ? Ive heard Death Wobble for years about Motorcycles.. All kinds. Ive twisted every motorcycle Ive ever owned past the 120 marh.. And
Ive taken curves like my nuts are on fire . Never a problem.. I mke sure the front ends and tires and axels and suspensions are in order always though.
Never on my Dynas. Only once on my brand new 2016 Road Glide on a sweeper after hitting a dip, however throttled back and it recovered in seconds. A quick change to Ohilns shocks and a Alloy Art rear stabilizer and never again. Couldn’t recreate it ever again on the same road, same speed, same line - after the mods. Oh well.
Never a "death wobble" but I've had a couple bikes shake and shimmy at highway speeds. Usually a steering head adjustment or motor mount swap will solve it.
I read an article on my cell phone recently that claimed the Dyna was a horrible bike because of the dreaded "death wobble". BUT! it was an article written by a kid who never rode Harleys and was bashing HD.
You really dont need to experience it to believe it. Its all in the dyna's infamous design. Yes it is proven fixable with aftermarket parts, another proof that the wobble exist.
Most will likely not experience it, and its a good thing I guess. It depends on the riding style.

Yeah you have to watch that. I've seen articles about "the worst cars of the 80s" etc that are way off on the facts. It could be as simple as posting a picture of a Pinto and saying it is a Vega. There is a whole generation of column writers who have no clue and are passing off bunk as fact.
