While testing stator resistance test good and ground test good. When ac voltage test I am not getting a reading at any rpm. Would this suggest stator needs replaced?
Thanks a ton. Thats what I figured but I keep second guessing myself. Have the one piece rotor/stator kit coming. Ofc its back ordered my luck. Stuck riding the sporty for ten days or so!
meter is def good I checked that first when I noticed no ac voltage!
That all doesn't make sense. If the resistance readings are good and the magnets are spinning then it will generate AC current. If the magnets came loose they'd be making a terrible racket. I'd take the cover off and look in there....

One I had out with a stripped spline, I figured they would make good refrigerator magnets to hold charts on the garage refrigerator.
I took and old heavy screwdriver and tried to knock one off. Didn't budge.
I decided to try the don't strike . One smack on the OD and they just jumped together. Since they are trapped, rpm would not affect them.
Now just ridding down the road should not dislodge them.
My thoughts are since they no longer have those breaks, no AC.
(I think)
Don't think you're going to hear anything.
