I tried the predator mount for about 3 miles then changed back to stock,]

Did you replace the rear mount at the same time? If your front mount was bad then the rear one will put the engine too far back when you install the Predator. (Or any other new front mount...)

My mount was not bad, bike only had about 3000 miles on it, wanted to see if the predator mount could reduce vibes even more but it got worse instead, my last bike a 2013 Road glide was super smooth so it took me some time to get used to the Dyna but i think it´s ok now and i will buy new stock Harley mount when the time comes to change them.
1. New (Harley Davidson) Motor Mounts
2. Sputhe Front and Rear
3. New MU85E16 American Elite Rear Tire.
I take back everything bad I've ever said about the way Dyan's handle in the past. My wife owned a 2001 FXDXT and I hated the thing. I never felt steady, kind of flimsy, lose or squirrel. I was attributing my hatred for the bike to the harrow front end.
As I've aged I've given up riding heavy weight Motorcycles. I figured I'd give Wide Glide a try with a wider front end. Since I've owned the bike I NEVER felt confident riding it.
The first thing I did shortly after I bought to try and help the handling was add a front fork brace. It helped a lot and I thought it was as good as it get.
NOT TRUE - There must be an inherent design flaw with all Dyna's. How could Harley Davidson ever expect anyone to accept the crap they offered. No wonder why so may other bike owners and riders bash Harley Davidson's. Don't drink the COOL AIDE. I was on of them who just accepted the crap because the MoCo had us convinced it as good as it gets. BULLSH@T.
What a MAJOR difference. The low speed (parking lot) handling is where I notice a BIGGEST difference. At high speed there is NO MORE unexpected lane shifting, wandering or wobbling. I never noticed how bad it was but the handling sucked REALLY, REALLY, REALLY BAD. I am amazed in the difference. Next I am planning a Race Brace the tie the engine and transmission together.
I have a predator front, GP 25mm fork carts with a superbrace, and Ohlins rears. Handles great, but I still feel a little loose in the rear when hard over. I feel like the weak spot is the stock rear mount. Im on the fence on a Sputhe or TruTrack (both pretty much the same) but have read about the bitchiness of the install. Was it easy once you removed the rear wheel?
I wound up going back to the 130/90H-16.stock size tire. The noise of the belt rubbing against the tire at low speed was annoying.

The bracket is sitting down hard on the rubber at the top, i think i read there should be a small gap there? So considering ordering today the 3rd generation harley replacement, but i have heard about the Predator mount?
Suggestions? Has Harley improved their vibration mount?
Isn't a Fat Boy a Softail ridged mounted counterbalanced engine?

I don't think I'd attempt to install the rear Sputhe Stabilizer with the rear wheel and tire still on the bike.
