The 08 soft tail fenders still have the same flip... The 06-08 wide glides dont...My Dyna has a 06 Wide Gliderear fender and my 07 Soft tail is stock look at the differance in the flip at the end. (best ican come up with in the pic's)
Had engine work done to my dyna. Don't vibrate like he's saying either. And yes I live in the country and do lay the curves in the Piney woods of East Texasall the time.
Here riding threw some ranch land before you hit the curves and trees.
If you say your Dyna doesnt make your fingers tingle and your toes numb after 60 miles your kidding yourself.
Then I must be kidding myself.....My fingers do not tingle nor does my toes. My Wideglide is a hell of a lot smoother at speeds then my Intruder that has a double pin crank. Now at idle it vibrates, but I liked that. I wish I could get the old Harley sound out of it, safely. But I guess I need to pick up an old Shovel for that.
As for riding in the twisties.. I bought cruisers and sold my Crotch rockets got tired of draggin knees. Those will ride circles around a Softie and a Dyna in the turns.
Now to pay off the Wide Glide in 10 more months and to get me aNight train to go with it .....
Is that Junk still running ? and the last time we rode I thought I saw yer nose bleeding... LMAO ... Street Glide or Night Train ?

When a Harley runs a smooth as a Honda Goldwing, I will be going to the bank and taking out money and buying a older bike. If I had of wanted something to run like a Honda I would of bought one. I rode a Pan head for years. If you rode a Pan the stuff a lot of riders today complain about is nothin.
I think a lot of riders might be happier with a Honda if they are wanting a quiet smooth ride. Harley's were never build for that. Go to the dealer and they will tell you this any day of the week that they are open. I've heard them tell a lot of people that it sounds like they would be happier with a Honda when they was complaining about it goes Clunk when it goes in gear.
This thread is goofy...This entire thread should be freaking nuked . Like Trotter said, why rag on what you do not own.

But don't call someone's opinion or thread "goofy"...who the F%^& are you?...the forum thread approval queen? "Nuke" this...
If you think I am justifying why I bought my bike you can kiss my ____.Why did you pick the bike you have???? If I wanted abike that ranvery smooth I would never have bought a V twin. I buy what I want with my money you buy what you want with yours.
