ghost brackets
Take a look at the photos in my thread here: "https://www.hdforums.com/m_2627191/tm.htm", they should give you a good idea of what to expect ... I put HD bags on my Fat Bob using EasyBrackets (same principle, almost identical product) so I could have detachable bags (which HD doesn't make for the Fat Bob yet). The only "disadvantage" is that they make the bags stick out ~ 1" on each side of the bike since that's the width of the brackets ... huge advantage is that they (the EasyBrackets, at least) are lockable, which the detachable hardware from HD is not.
Like everyone else said, they are nice but do giv'er wide hips. Only really looks funny if you look straight on at the bike and can see the wide gap between the bike and the bags.
I'm using the regular Harley bolt-on bags. Took the easy brackets off with the idea that I was just going to use them as they were intended. After fiddling around for about 15 minutes getting the bolts all lined up and screwed in on one side I said - forget it. Too much hassle when I want to get them off to clean the bike, no way to get at the shocks to adjust them (wife on/wife off), and if I park the thing overnight somewhere, I'd have to empty anything valuable out because the bags themseleves don't lock.
I did have some rattle at one point, but loosening the mount bolts, adjusting the nubs out a little bit, and then retightening them seemed to get rid of it.
Might not look so bad with bags that aren't contured for the Dyna shocks - like some regular slant bags or something. But, it's what I've got so I'll live with it for now (unless someone wants to take these Harley bags off my hands)
Anyway, here's pics:
