Fork lock problems -- "07
Can't get the front fork to lock with the key on my 07 Wide Glide. The key will not travel far enough to enable me to get it out.
Anyone else experience a problem with this?

No offense topspin but your not turning the forks too far are you? The point where the lock works is just short of the stop.I found my lockto be very stiff when new but regular squirts with WD40 or the like helps.

Fixed itafter reading a search on the subject...
Fixed it with Graphite.
The dowel that drops from the lock into the fork was stuck/unlubed.
Don't use WD40 on locks... graphite only
