Default WG engine guard measurement please
Could someone measure the distance between one of the bottom mounting bolts and the upper mounting bolt.

What is it that your trying to figure out? I have a wideglide bar on my superglide with foward controls.

I measured 15-5/8" center to center.

What I am looking for is the measurement from the upper frame mount just under the steering neck to either one of the lower mounting bolts below the foot pegs. I know on a softail it is 19.5".

That's strange as I have measured from the upper fram mounting hole to about where the forwards should be and come up with something in the range of 19" and a side to side measure of about 13" 14". Thanks for the help I think I will just go to the dealer and have them pull one from stock so I can check it.

Are you asking if a wide glide engine guard will fit on a super glide? I can probably answer any questions you have. I have a 2005 suprglide that came with mids. I had the supeglide engine guard on it. I changed to a wide glide engine guard and added fowards.

I got the chance to measure the engine guard from an fxdp today and the measure is 19" which is exactly what I need. KTM Scott do you happen to the the style that has the clamps that afix to the fram or the mounting tabs that bolt to the lower part of the controls?
