I take mine off a good bit, but if I'm going farther than a 100 miles or so in a day (whichmeans usually), that sucker's on there. I'mcomfortable with being a lightweight. Pun intended.[sm=smiley14.gif]

I have been riding itstripped the last few weeks (no bags or shield), probably because I haven't been riding long stretches.

51 years old and never had a windshield...or wanted one. Maybe just a personal quirk of mine, but windshields, driveshafts, radios,cb's,or fairings have no place on a bike imho. Give me a few more years and maybe i'll change my mind, but windshields...especially on Bobs,Sportys, or choppers, totally ruin the look for me.

I also went with the 14" Windvest, and it looks like it belongs on the Bob! I plan on leaving it on since it kind of disappears between the bar uprights!

You can tell a happy biker by the number of bugs in his teeth.

I agree 100% with your post about not on choppers, bobbers. I have a windshield it is called a bandana. It is quick release and keeps the bugs, sand and small gravel off.
