Hi:
My fatbob has 1400 miles on it now and the neutral light started coming on as a flicker in all gears and now it's shining brightall the time in all gears. Took it to the service department and had the neutralswitch cleaned. Well that helped for about 100 miles and itcame back on full time all gears. Now the 6th gear indicator lampwas working part time for a while now it's not working at all. Anyway it's going back to the dealer next week to see what is going on. Anyone have any of these glitches? Thanks.
Jeff.
Update:
I found the problem myself the wire harness to the neutral light switch and the vehicle speed sensor (has something to do with the 6 gear???) was rubbing causing a short on top a Allen head bolt underneath the starter. I moved the harness off the bolt and put a black plastic plug over the bolt head for insurance no more problems.
My 2006 Superglide started the flickering neutral light a few weeks ago. Spent 2 days at the dealership, they changed the switch, that didn't fix it. They kept it and worked on it, they thought it was fixed but they didn't know what they did to fix it...it isn't fixed.
I hope someone has a solution!
Side stand switch registered a fault for a day but has gone now but will get it checked when next at the dealer . No problems with the neutral ...fingers crossed

There was a safety recall on the 06 Dynas for the nuetral switch assembly (not the switch itself). You should have got a recall notice on this. The first 13,400 or so were definitely involved.
A few other things can cause the nuetral light to start acting up. Recalls are good for the life of the bike, they not a warranty issue.
