https://www.hdforums.com/m_2919607/tm.htm I asked a while ago and someone posted some cool links to causes.... my vibration was tune related though ...new plugs and some SE wire cleared it right up...
so i have a 08 Dyna lowrider i have forward controls .
the vibration in my feet was there with normal controls and still there with forward controls .
now i can put up with this or try and get rid of it so what to do ?
Anyone got any ideas / solutions .
thx ubdead
I have a 06 Low Rider. The first time was caused by motor mount alignment. The second time was tuning. The third time an injector connector was intermittent.
u b dead and I got the vibration 80%gone ,by cutting a thin piece of rubber in the shape of a washer and putting it between the brake arm and the footpeg mount . there was a lot of play from side to side in the brake arm .
thanks guys for all your help (well 99% of ya , thanks carltex)
Check your top vibration mount which is under the gas tank where it bolts onto the jugs. Mine was loose 1/2 a turn from the factory. But Dyna "A" motor vibration is the nature of the beast.
I went for a ride after the bike being stored for a couple of cold months.
The vibration in the pegs was really bad for the first 10 minutes or so.
It did seem to improve towards the end of my ride, still excessive however.
Iâm hoping it was due to the rubber mounts being so cold for so long.
I have 8500 on my 07 SB still under warranty, so if it doesnât improve
Iâll take her in.
I practice safe riding, I have a rubber mounted motor.
