as far as pipes go? I see that Harley sells Screaming Eagle performance parts. Are there other options or would SE pipes be the best option? I'm looking for better sound and of coarse a bit more power. 08 Low Rider stock for now.
Are you concerned about sound or performance or looks? Are your funds limited, or is money not a problem?
I would dare say most of the guys here have tried several varations of exhaust on their bikes trying to find what they want. Do a search here and you will find lots of opinions. U-tube has a lot of clips with the sounds of different exhausts.
You can get away with just slip-ons mufflers for under a couple hundred bucks. You can dump $1000 - $1500 or more in full exhaust with a EFI tuner and air cleaner.
My suggestion would be, if you just want sound, get a pair of Cycle Shack slip-ons to get the noise you want for now. Then, spend some time listening to other pipes and do some research before spending the bigger dollars.
For now I would like a little throatier sound and better performance is always good. I own an 06 F-250 that I have modded every way possible so I'm somewhat hooked on the whole mod scene. I just don't want to do anything to void my warranty especially since I paid extra for the 7 year. I suppose slip ons and maybe a new air intake system are what I'm looking at short term.
If you do the new air cleaner, you will also need to get a tuner for the EFI. The stock ECM can't handle the more air in-more air out. Air/fuel mixture needs to be richened up.
A thousand combinations out there for such a set-up. It is easy to jump-in guessing and not end up with what you want. Makes for a costly guess.

Have heardthe Cycle Shackslip ons are very similar tothe SE slip ons but have a little better sound. Do you need the air cleaner and tuner for the Cycle Shackslip ons or can yourun them without like the new SEslip ons?
The options are close to unlimited depending on what you want and how much money. I have the 2" Rush slip-ons, and really like the sound. I think they are better than the SE slip-ons. My second choice only for the looks would be the Vance & Hines Big Radius. I will leave the performance suggestions to others because I am satisfied with the stock performance from HD.
Best bet is YouTube, as stated. That's where I went to hear all kinds of pipes. I settled on the Vance & Hines Big Shots Staggered pipes, HD Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 A/C, and the Vance & Hines FuelPak for EFI tuning.
