I have an 07 dyna wg.I want to get some slip ons that will be louder than stock and a more deeprumble, throatiersound. I'm leaning towards V & H Straightshots HS slip ons (with or with out quiet baffles), but not 100% yet. Need opinions taking in account - I don't know if I should get the quiet baffles (don't want to get tickets just push the limits). I don't want to have to change anything else or get it remapped etc...
I got the bub jug huggers and I cant say enough good things about them. Easy to install and they look great. Ill try to get a sound clip sometime if you are interested.
And im retarded, I just read you want slip ons but for $450, why not go with the full exhaust and get the benefits.
For just a slip-on, there are many aoptions. The V&H HS models sound very good, but I would get the quiet baffles in them, to get a deeper growl. A couple friends have them on their Sportsters, and I think they sound awesome, but they really need the quiet baffles, as they get tinny at highway speeds. I put the quiet baffles in my BSS, and the note change was great. Everyone I ride with seems to like the sound. There's even one guy who never has anything nice to say about anything (unless it's on his bike), and he keeps telling me how great they sound. I say go for it.
I put V/H Slip-ons on my WG. They will set off car alarms. They will sing if you really put the throttle to it. But on other hand if you ride it reasonable they arent to bad loud. The quiet baffles dont make a big diffrence . About 2 to 3 decible.
I wish I had gone to the Rinehartâs Slip-ons first.
The sound great at a lot less $$$ than the 2 into 1âs.
I would have save a bundle on the stage 1 and
what came with changing the air system.
