no point getting into the debate, but my .02 is stick with comanies that specialise in the area you are modding. Dynojet has been in the intake business since i was kid fitting a dynojet kit to my cbx 1000. They know the game inside out and having run a PCIII for a few thousand miles now i can tell you its excellent and easy to work with..
After emailing the service manager back about the SERT situation...saying this:
"Sounds good, *****....But I'm a bit confused....You mention bringing the SERT? Do you mean the 'ignition table' calibration for the SERT outlined by HQ? If not, I never purchased a SERT. You folks simply downloaded a break in map when I had the Stage 1 and V&H slips on done upon purchase of the bike last year."
And this was his reply:
"I just checked my customer Race Tuner collection and we have your SERT (race tuner)."
It means you paid several hundred dollars for a Race Tuner that they didn't give you. They charged you for the Race Tuner when they did the "break in" map then put it in their "collection". Did they not give you a receipt for it?
The reason he is telling you to bring in the SERT, is that you stated in your e-mail, that HQ has tables posted for the SERT and that you can print them out. Even I read that as you have already bought the SERT. Doesn't mean you originally bought it with the bike, but you may have bought it when you parked the bike and started doing all the performance upgrades.
+1 thats what i read as well thought you had race tuner
