Bought one at a dealer about sixty miles north of us. Broke a clamp. Dealer thirty miles south of us replaced it for free. Just take the windshield or the broken piece with you when you go to the dealer. You might want to call them first to make sure they have one in stock.

 \\;If the dealers are willing to replace these clamps at no cost, it makes me wonder if they know about a design issue with them. Not complaining, just wondering.
I have delt with them before . Give them a call I'm sure they will make things right. I just started the fastners on the clamps. then when clamped on the bike finished tightening them down

When I bought mine a couple of months ago they told me there was issues with them breaking, lots of breaking. \\; Might have even been a recall on them, can't remember. \\; But they said just bring it back if one breaks and they'll replace it, no issues.

I've just ordered a new windshield. I shall remember not to tighten them too much. If they are that flimsy it might be worth carrying a spare when I go off touring. I'm off riding round Europe next month. Not sure where I'm going to end up yet. I'm starting off visiting some friends in Belgium and I'll probably head up into Holland and up into Denmark. I might go down into the Ardennes as I've got a mate that lives in La Roche.
I have snapped 4 clamps on mine! just go into HD and they handed me brand new ones! took no time I was VERY supprised when i snapped th first one, but they just handed me a new one... and so on... the lady says it happens all the time. they are set up to snap rather than damage your forks. \\;
