If you carry your wallet in a back pocket then try sticking it in a jacket pocket instead. Riding a motorcycle got downright brutal for me. I had pain driving and asked a doctor about it and he told me to take the wallet out of my pocket when driving. Sure enough, fixed the problem. It didn't occur to me on the motorcycle though because you don't really set on your wallet.
The pain was getting brutal though. I couldn't hardly stand stopping at stoplights. I would quit riding, try it again, same pain, quit again. This season I got the bike up and running, got out on the road and started getting the pain again. I thought, man, why just that one side then it occured to me, the wallet. Took it out and stuck it in my jacket pocket. I still occasionally get the pain. When I do I check and sure enough, forgot to stick my wallet in my jacket.
i have the same thing. and rideing is better than driving in a car or truck.but the vicky's do help.but for the guy with the hip deal .it may get alittle costly till you find the fix. good luck.
#1 You need a walletectomy...like said previously.
#2 I bought a stock seat on ebay and sent it to Bar Enterprises in California (google them) they stuffed the seat with high density miracle foam ( the kind used on mattresses but even more dense)
#3 Installed seat (1 screw) pain gone.
If your knees hurt get forwards. Butt or hips hurt...get a better seat. The miracle foam seat also absorbs about 98% of the vibration transmitted into your butt. I can now ride 2-300 miles with about 30% of the fatigue I had before. Cost: $240 for the miracle foam job and $100 for the seat on ebay.
When I had my SUV I was living with chronic left hip and back of the thigh pain. I gave up the SUV for a sedan and the pain is gone. Many, many years ago I had a left knee with damaged ligaments, I had to log all movements on my left knee other than walking and found mounting and dismounting the motorcyle the common denominator. I made a concsceince effort not to twist on the knee and the condition went away. Look at how you mount the bike or the body position of your hip, one little change might help.
