wg or fxd sliders?

Well i bought my wg triple trees from vtwin,i have an 08 wg wheel to put on my fxdc and my ? is i want to buy some chrome sliders, would this be a good time to buy the wg sliders?

I more ? where is the wg +2 inches in the tubes or sliders? I dont want the 2'' i was just wondering!

I think you will need to use the WG sliders for your project if you are going with a WG wheel. The left slider for the WG is machined differently than other Dynas to accommodate for the position of the caliper in relationship to the position of the rotor on the WG wheel.

A search on the Dyna forum should provide more info on this as I am sure I have seen it discussed before.

I am looking forward to pics of the finished project.

I was intimidated having never worked on the forks or tubes before. I followed the manual to a tee. Took me about two hours. The first side took three times longer than the second due to the leaning process. Overall, not bad at all and looks great.
