Default Thundermax Sensor Routing

OK, so I've gotten everything installed and initialized. Honestly, the biggest PITA for me so far has been figuring out how to route the front sensor wire. The instructions talk about removing the mid-footpeg/brake bolts, but with a Thunderheader that aint happening.

Right now I've routed them so that they clip together right under the footpeg mount...kinda by that big **** on the bottom of the frame. I tried about 10 different ways to run it and that's the one that's worked best so far...I just worry about it being safe there, because it's on the bottom of the bike and exposed to the road.

I routed along the frame similar to the pic, after 22k miles I had wear thru on the outer coating. if I do another tmax I will add another layer of protection on the wires. It was just vibration wear in a few spots but only after 22k miles. Just a thought.

This was on my 07 RKC

Yeah, my rear connection definitely doesn't reach as far as yours, Paul....the two meet under the mid-peg mount, basically behind the timer cover rather than in front like yours.

I routed mine up the left side downtube and then under the tank.
Very little chance of damage there, and completely out of sight.
