It's amazing how much a headlight changes the look. Stanger, sounds like you did the same thing I did with mine. I took apart the connector and slipped the harness out of the stock headlight and re-used it. Made more sense at the time than splicing the wires. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

 

Sorry if I am just not seeing it but what headlight did you use (I saw "Bates Style" but didn't know brand, where you bought, etc...)? Thanks, I love your bike!
