Wire Wheels, What would you pay?

I priced out from a very reputable manufacturer a premium 16 X 3.5 aluminum 60 spoke wire wheel in matte black with Metz 130 rubber for the front and a 17 x 6.25 aluminum 60 spoke wire wheel also in matte black with 200 Metz tire for rear. Direct fit for my Fat Bob. I was quoted $2900, plus exchange
(20%), duty, shipping. Probably cost me around $4000 all in. Is this what you guys are paying for your wheels?? I put 24's with rubber on my avalanche for less than that. Thanks all.

Something wrong there man, seems way too expensive.

I just had two wheels made, stainless spokes (40's), powder coated rims and hubs (I supplied the hubs), built and trued for £400 ($560)
Tires are gonna run me another $250

when i was looking into gettin them for my FB it was going to run me about 1100 a wheel... I am gettin PCed spokes rims and hubs though too.. so i deff think you are getting ripped..

Yes..sounds to much! Even if it was Sweden (expensive parts) this would have been way to much!

I paid for my two 80 spokes with tyres approx= 1500$ for both! Brand new.
