Mine went on pretty easy, but they were soooo tight to get on and off and the lock was a Bi%$* to work.
I had to play with it alittle, ended up shimming this and that and now they are perfect

Just glad I could help. After I originally did it they fit too good that they rattled while empty, so I ended up bending them a little back to eliminate the rattle.
