Do heel stirrups make a big difference on footpegs?

Took mine a step farther. They may look goofy to some, but they sure did help my comfort. These are the first ones I built just to see if they would do what I wanted and they did. I have another pair that are a little nicer that I will get around to finishing up someday.
I put them on my v-rod and it was a huge difference, one of the best improvements I made.
I haven't bought them for my Fat Bob yet. I just ordered the forward control extensions from Kury. I want to get those on first, then I'll order the stirup pegs.
Also thought about a Kury product called "peg mounted cruise mounts, click below to see and there are a few different views of them to see on the site.
I'm 6'6" tall and want to be able to stretch out as much as I can.
Frank, I just put the above mentioned cruise mounts on mine.
Very comfortable and allows for nice leg extension, but it takes a little getting used to being close to the shifter on the other side, but they can be adjusted. And can fold up for tight spaces in the garage.
MAN O MAN I cant tell you what a difference it made for me. No more Right heal melting on my pipes. No more leg fatigue. More stable feeling using my MID CONTROLS.
I just wont ever ride my bike without them. I opted for Kury ISO Dually pegs, which is wider for the ball of your foot.... and added the heel rest. It really, really does feel like having floorboards.
I just installed some on my fatbob, and I have to admit, I don't really like them. I've tried adjusting them in several different positions, but they just don't work for my bike, my boots, and my riding position. On a positive note, if anyone is looking for a very slightly used (100 miles) pair of Kury Stiletto stirrups, I'm looking to sell mine.
