Default pc V afterwash

I washed and waxed the bob today and had the seat off maybe the pcV got a little wet,I tried to dry it off and when I took her out to the wind to air out she reacts fine at normal throttle but anything above half throttle and it's like she's hesitating! Will it dry off and go away or will I be calling jamie at fuel moto to find out what is up with that? She never haesitated before!!

Unplug the PCV and dry out the connections.

.... and don't wash the bike with the seat off again...

While you have it apart, apply some dielectric grease in the connector. It will help keep water out.

Connectors probably got water in them. Remove them , dry them off and add dielectric grease to minimize water intrusion.

Try using a hair dryer to dry it out.

you may also want to put it in a ziploc bag to help keep out moisture when you reinstall it.

Dielectric grease in all connections of the PC V should be used. That should take care of your problem. I always remove the seat when I wash the bike and have never had a problem with my PCIII and water intrusion.

O hell guys I'm really in it now! I took apart every connector from the pcV and only found water in the pcV black connector The one that hooks up to the stock harness. So I'm al happy , i chase out the water and stand there with hair dryer for about 15 minutes on and off until I think it's dry and smear dielectric grease on both sides all the pins and alll the holes and around the rubber gasket , zip tie it all together start her up seams fine. The power light on the pcV is green but the status light is red and intermittent. I get a few blocks from home she has full power but begins to cough and dies out with a loud backfire. I get anothe r2 blocks dies again and won't start. So I wait a couple of minutes she starts I get home and put the bike away! What is going on here? too much grease? I am so FUGGED UP!
