I was worried when I got my rush 1.75 slip-ons , but now 6 months later, I roll past police all the time . as long as I'm driveing normal they hardley look! Now that my bub7's are in the mail I'm getting nervous again. When i was researching them it said slightly quieter with no objectionable noise and much improved mid and high range hp and tq! So I was tickled - more power less noise YEAH!- Plus a few people on here told me they aren't all that loud but have a nice deep tone to them so hey bonus! Then I found out reinhart (made by bub) is one of the loudest pipes out there! And a lady at bub ent. told me the bub is quieter than the reinhart but not that much. Any one know how loud the bub7 2/1 is compatred to the rush 1.75's?
Just me getting jittery I think!!
Comments away please!
I have never heard the bub pipes, but I'm pretty sure any of these 2-1 pipes will sound the same, if not a tad quieter then the slip ons. Don't worry about it. They just have a deep growl. Different sort of "loud".
Sounds great thank you Adrian, that is what I wanted to hear! Now I want to hear the pipes! I guess I'll only know once there on! like looking at youtube, you can't tell anything it all sounds the same!
I've been riding with the bigger rush slipons (2.25 i think? or 2?)
I set off car alarms, and cops don't even look my way.
San Francisco Bay Area seems to give bikers a lot of slack, but they will
pull u over if your going 50 down a school street for sure.
I've never been pulled over on my bike. knock on wood.
I even have a novelty helmet cap also...
