Just did mine today as well. I'm still waiting on funds to get my wheels laced and new white walls on. So letting it sit for a week will be no problem. They look amazing so far!
I have a chrome handlebar, and I was thinking if this might work in there? Do you suggest some kind of sanding after trying to paint it?
I've done several chrome parts with good results by scuffing up the chrome with 100 grit followed by 220 and a good degreasing. No sanding afterwards necessary unless you get runs and have to reapply.
BLAH! I got a nice coat of dirt on my forks 5 min after my last coat of paint. So do I have to wait the 7 days then recoat? Is there a simpler or quicker method? Can I clean coat it after sanding? Do I have to sand the whole thing?
Is there any reason you shouldn't coat your triple trees with this stuff?
Been thinking about doing mine along with the rear shocks while they are still attached to the bike. How does appliance paint hold up over time?
Has anyone else try this stuff on their trees & shocks?

I did my triples on my old bike, it didn't hold up as well as my forks. I tore my whole front end apart this time and got them powder coated
But warning, if you decide to PC your triples, you'll need to replace the bearings and dust washers. This involves a dremel and a machine press. Aprox $15 per bearing and $11 for the washers.
