I like the "old" WG's better. The 2010 is a descent looking bike, but it is kind of a mix of all the current dyna's smashed together.... I would like to see one in person though. I can find something I like about all Harleys.
I am glad I have my 06. I love it and thats what matters. In 06 the WG guys didnt like the change to the rear fender.....which was pretty subtle compared to this. Compared to all the improvments made in 06, I easily over looked the small change in the fender, have had zero inner bearing issues, and LOVE the bike. But what "improved" in 2010. They just COMPLETELY changed the look. And surely WG enthusiasts wont like it...or at least wont think of it as a WG. Its a WG if the MoCO says so, but it looks like a FatWideBob to me.
My God... some people are taking this so personally. How many were actually in the market for a new Wide Glide? The sales figures probably show that pretty much everyone who wanted the old WG already bought one. This bike appears to appeal to those, like me, who never paid attention to the old version. I saw one the other day. I didn't love it as much as when the pics first started appearing, but it is a sweet looking bike.
The old Wide Glide was one of my favorite bikes……I’m too short for forwards tho. I’m not really crazy about the new Wide Glide. I thought the bobtail fender was a defining characteristic of the Wide Glide. I’m not sure I can deal with the ‘bobbed’ fender on the new Wide Glide. That’s probably my biggest beef with it.
Funny that they even use the Street Bob tail light in Europe. Even though it’s a different fender it sure does look like they ripped that off the Street Bob anyway without actually using the exact same tail light. That tail light on there really does make it live up to this ‘parts bin’ bike name that it’s getting.

I am 5'5" tall and I can reach the controls...I did however, install mini floor boards on mine to get different footing options.
i got to sit on one at the dealer this weekend. It felt significantly lighter than my wide glide. A little smaller too, but overall, i prefer mine over the 2010. It's nice though.
A true Wide has Apes, Chrome, and a Bobbed Rear. MoCo gets points for their price point, but that's all from me...wouldn't want one, no thank you please.
