You guys running the 2 into 2 big radius pipes:
1: How Loud are they?
2: Any noticable dip in the power/torque curve not using a xconnect or 2 into 1 pipe?
Loud is a subjective term...to some, they may seem loud, but to others not so...
I can keep them at a low growl, but when I want them to open up, it's only a matter of a twist of the throttle. I've been told by others riding with me that they sound great.
As far as a dip in the power curve goes, I couldn't tell ya. I have the Stage 1 done with a Power Commander and had my bike professionally dyno tuned. My HP was 77 1/2 and my torque was about 92 ft lbs if I'm not mistaken. A nice jump from stock.
Mine are loud to someone not used to being around bikes, but not very loud to me. If you give it a good rap on the throttle, they open up pretty good. I don't notice any dip in the performance, but I have aftermarket cams too...
+1 on Jake's post. Haven't had mine dyno'd but with stage 1, definitely a nice boost over stock. Not TOO loud when just cruising or even easing up through the gears. But definitely screams when you twist the throttle. Using them right out of the box - no baffle change or modifications.
Loud enough for me I dig em the way they came out of the box. Dont think I need any aftermarket baffles. Ive got the stage 1 w/remap ..sure feels stout.
Great vid fastfwd. That's a pretty good representation of what they sound like stock on a TC96 dyna. Usually the sound quality on internet videos just doesn't do pipes justice, but this one does.
Big City Thunder is the only way to go with BR's. They sound evil. Wife swears she can hear me get on it a 1/2 mile away.
Didn't notice any performance gains or losses but I'm not a slice and dice kind of rider though. So if there was any change in performance, i wouldn't notice.
