they do look good... I actually just read a forum member mention that he paid for a seat and waitied a long time for it to arrive, finally called them and they claimed there was no record of him buying the seat. I don't know if the story is true or not, but beware if it is.
I got a custom seat from bar with the memory foam in leather with flame stitching. They ask questions like inseam, weight, riding position to build a real custom seat. Kind of pricey but I love it for long rides. Last ride was to Biloxi (10 hours) with no problem. They did ship me the wrong seat the first time but Andy and John was helpful in getting it resolved. Bottom line - no pun intended- great seat but prepare to open your wallet.

We went with the Hitchhiker +.
John asked lots of questions about heigth, weight, leg length, distances like to ride. Then explained the layering of the foam for me and for my passegers seat. Where they removed some foam for my leg length, and adjusted this and that. Lots going on inside it.
Fits great, both the bike and my butt. It's lighter than the stock seat due to the seat pan molded from fibreglass, and it sits on the bike very tight.
My seat came within a month across border to Canada, very well packaged.
I'm happy. The only problem I had with mine was getting it on my bike the first time, totally due to ME not reading the enclosed directions to remove the bolt for the seat strap. BAR posted this on the website AND enclosed it on a paper in the box, but, hey, I'm a man.
Pics w/o sissy bar.

That was me. I'm suprised you remembered the details so well. 110% true. In fact the guy asked me all the same questions the other poster mentioned about weight, inseam, height, passenger and such. I was very excited about them and really wanted the seat. But their nonsense really turned me off and finally had to cancel the order...if there even was anything to cancel.
