It's amazing to see this thread still rolling along.

I assume no one has experienced any death and destruction yet due to the cantilevering issue.

Why does the front crossmember need to move? It's been a few months since I used (or even looked at) mine but I never had any issues while using the HD adapters.

No issues with exhaust , or clutch cables or anything, I'll have my nephew send me a pic from the exhaust side . I think inside to inside was 13.25" if I'm not mistaken

Since this thread has 9 lives here's my modded jack. Works very well on my Dyna LR. You have to position it just right but its very stable.
