First off just want to say you've got an awesome looking bike. It's tough when you feel you have to compromise your vision, but if it's not comfortable to ride whats the point?
Reminds me a bit of my Danny Gray Barhopper seat. Looked killer on the bike, but it sucked for performance (no back or lateral support) and comfort (hard like a brick).
I compromised and like the way the new seat looks (almost as much), but now I can ride the hell out of the bike and thats what (at least in my opinion) matters.
why not rotate the bars back bringing the grips closer to you?
second question...i don't get what bars and front fenders have to do with each other?
Bars & fenders don't have much to do with eachother to many people...but this man has a vision he's tryin to accomplish & it's obviously pissin him off, lol!
The bars in the thumbnail don,t look so good as your previous bars with those tall risers. Maybe the short, stock risers with bars that pullback a bit more, like the Flanders clubmans or suchlike. I know where your coming from i,m in the same boat sometimes i wish i never internally wired the bars at least then it would be a 1 hour bars swap.LOL
these are the bars and 8" risers....not the drag bars in my sig picture...
I think these look pretty good really like the beefy risers. Looks like a good compromise from the night train bars considering you are wanting more pullback for comfort. That will look a lot different with the tank back on too. I tore my hair out with choosing bars too. Dynas can look so good with drags or apes.
