Thanks for the info Daggs. I use stainless a lot instead of chrome. More in areas like fenders mounts, bezel fasteners etc. In this case I used stainless for the 2 caliper mounts. I'm pretty sure they will hold fine as its more shear force than direct load on the head such as an engine mount or head both etc. where fastener stretch is a factor. All in all my WG conversion worked out perfectly using my stock wheel fender etc.

By the way, I went with the Mid USA WG replacement tree which is a drop on replacement for the WG tree (2 deg rake) but it is Chrome unlike the MoCo part which is polished Aluminum. It was 300.00. p/n 36252 in the Mid-USA Catalog, page 3.

cool, I just used the black fat bob trees on my street bob, they were only $198 and $45 for the axle, I didn't want any extra rake, just the wider fork spacing, so far very happy with it but still waiting for my black Wild 1 outlaw handlebars

Mark at M&M Cycles, couldn't reccommend them highly enough, got te parts in a week and a half and I'm in Australia.

I don't agree with the centre to centre measurments that are on the first page.

Here is what I measured (I have 29 years experience using measuring tool in my trade)

Mid Glide C/C = 8.500" ( 215.80 mm)

Fat Bob (which I beleve is the same as Wide Glide but can't confirm)
9.850" = (250.20 mm)

so Spacers for axles, disc rotor and fender = 17.20 mm wide

I have drawings in my thread about this

Mid glides are 8.483" (215.468 mm) and the wideglide is 9.875" (250.825 mm)

That makes the wideglide front end 35.357 mm wider.

To keep wheel centered make spacers 17.678 mm wider than stock.
Fender spacers will be 17.678 mm
Caliper spacer will be 17.678 mm,
A wideglide axle will be required as well as longer bolts for the fender and caliper mounts.
Do you know if the info you provided in this post about spacer size would apply to a 2012 street bob. I plan on using my stock lower sliders. I just picked up FXDF fat bob trees which are wide glide as well as a fxdf axle. Any help given would be greatly appreciated.

You do realize this is a 9 yr old thread, in the Dyna section...and your asking about bagger sizing?

Ask in the bagger section, might have more luck, even if your plan is to put them on your dyna

I have a touring hub on my 49mm wide glide front end. Multi could confirm but I believe the calipers and rotors line right up when using the Low Rider sliders.

I used Fat Bob sliders because I was ignorant and it caused a few headaches.

aah see not that i can use . I was looking at. 00-07 23” front wheel for a touring to put on my 2012 wide glide . And i want to use the low rider s sliders to get dual brakes on it . But i couldnt find any that done it or get any messurements .

i might use the complet legs from a low rider s , that will shorten the legs with 2” and lower the bike and give a nice low ride
