another handlebar swap question?
I have been searching and searching and searching the web and this site for information on handlebar swaps --------- I have a 07' bob that needs a new look when I go home on my next leave ----- I have 6 inch risers and sportster drag bars to install as well as mount my front sigs on the forks. Can you guys point me in the right direction for a detailed how to on swapping bars -- I know its here somewhere around here ---- ohh and while I am at it for anyone who has forwards controls and drag bars -- hows the difference in the handling??? thanks everyone!

HERE IS A FEW LINKS TO GET YA STARTED. BUT REALLY THIS SHOULD BE AN EASY SWAP, WONT NEED TO CHANGE OUT CLUTCH, IDLE, THROTTLE, AND BRAKE LINE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHORTEN THEM TO CLEAN UP THE LOOK. IF YOUR NOT WANTING TO SHORTEN CABLES IS AS SIMPLE AS REMOVED GRIPS AND CONTROLS, REMOVE STOCK BARS, INSTALL NEW BARS, INTERNAL WIRE BARS, AND INSTALL GRIPS ON CONTROLS. IT SEEMS DAUNTING AT THIS TIME, BUT ONCE YOU START IT WILL ALL FALL INTO PLACE. ANY MORE QUESTIONS JUST ASK. I DID MY APE, AND A BUDDIES T BAR, INSTALL A FEW MONTHS AGO, SO ITS KINDA FRESH IN MY HEAD. HARDEST PART IS REMOVING THE PINS IN THE HANDLEBAR CONTROL CONNECTORS UNDER THE GAS TANK.
