Thanks for the good advice here guys. Anyone else got any input???
well my wife and I found the C&C sport tour less comfortable than a badlander. 10 minutes into our first ride my wife hated it so much we had to turn back and put the stock 05 FXDC seat back on to go riding. I tried the seat solo myself and I could not stand it after about 30 minutes. I have found the corbin gambler to be the most comfortable seat I ever sat on. I have a mustang tripper solo and pillion that we use and the seat is outstanding for both me and my wife. I would buy the corbin however I use a haulin *** backrest, and the seats mounting system will not allow me to use the backrest. Maybe I'll get a danny grey weekday 2up or lepera daytona myself. The main thing I dislike about my seat is the way it looks.
This is a suggestion that every body overlooks but i think it is a worthwhile method of trying out before wasting a few hundred bucks on a new seat I got one and cant be more happy. any body for a guess of what it is??
OK.. i guess i will tell you. go git your self a sheepskin seat cover it is the best 50$ i have ever spent. it will give you more comfort than any seat upgrade that you can buy. just my opion though..
You can also send your stock 2up seat to Mean City Cycles and let them work their magic on it. I did that with a solo seat and am going to do it with a 2up, it made a big difference!
I think it rides fine but my wife still can't handle it after 20 miles or so.
I think the sheep skin is my next choice before changing another seat.
Here is a copy and paste I keep for quick seat answers.
I have added the luggage rack as well.
