Me thinks you only told half the story!! Did you notice how the Pirelli stuck to the road like it was glued to it? I sure did and that's a function of a more live rubber. The Dunlops are a high carbon tire and they are famous for not cutting when wet like for snow plows and off road use. The Pirelli and Carlisle are noted for soft rubber but it really hangs in the corners and grabs the concrete. My next rubber on my 09 will be either Pirelli or Carlisle as I don't get to ride often enough to worry about tire cost.
