I think that there is a lot of "illeagals" in San Diego but the PC-V is not one of them and using it will not void your warranty. If your dealership is saying that, then you tell them to put that in writing, and I guarantee you that they won't do it. They don't like the PC-V because it's a simple opperaton. Call Fuel Moto that is a sponsor on this site and talk to them about your concerns. You'll see.

I don't disagree, but I don't write software or make the hardware. I also have a zumo 550 that can't hold a new map because it is too large - so sometimes old technology hangs around because it is too expensive to update.
