By the way, if you do a search on True-Track, about 50 MEELLLLLLIONNN posts come up, from EVERY time someone mentions it.....sifting through that to find USABLE information on a TT system could be tough....I've tried.
Now try finding a picture! I'm sure it'll get posted now because I'm saying this, but I have had a hard time finding a pic of it installed on someone's bike.
I did pick up a few things in this thread that answered some questions though.........thanks guys.

And just because it's cool, I"ll post this, too:
Seems not many members of HDF can use the Search! True-Track is about as popular as oils and tyres and the answers are pretty predictable for them all.
Just took my bike to the dealer to have the rear brakes replaced under the tsb for brake squeak. Had them check for a wobble at about 40 mph in the front. Tech said that my head bolts were a little more than hand tight. I have never taken the front apart so they are looking into how this may have happened. Probably forgot to use thread lock or something. Since then though, wow totally different bike. Super smooth and stable.
I had a 2006 sporty 1200 custom before i like you, bought a 2001 Wide Glide with no miles on it. I also felt slight woblles in the front end at higher speeds and while turning slightly on the highway. Once i got used to the bike i realized its just the difference between the rake of the front ends. Your new wide glide is longer and raked more, therefore rides slightly differently. Good luck!!

Your Sporty had a rubber mount engine with three stabilizer links, like a Buell. The touring models (and old FXRs) had only two and the Dynas only one. A True-Track kit provides a Dyna with the same stabilizer links your Sporty had, to keep the rubber mounts in check and tighten up handling. That is not to say a Dyna can handle the same as a Sportster, but darned close!
