Default Advice re: painting engine block
Have an '03 Superglide and have done a lot of mods, but I still hate that silver-colored powder coat they put on the basic Superglide engines. Has anyone tried painting over it? If so, how did you prep and paint it? Has it lasted, or flaked off, etc.?

There is also a company making "engine black" or some such thing (thread in the sportster forum about it) that goes on easy, and makes it look like the Street Bob engine.
