I am also going to a wimmer intake system gonna do there Ultra Sucker stack and gonna have it powder coated black or maybe even get it painted the Pepper Grey Metallic..
So if anybody is interested in a new Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather with a new Wimmer Super Filter - Black with chrome Trim Ring Lmk I am gonna sell this one most likely.......
Soooooo Almost done here my winter project has turned into Spring - Summer Project.....
But once I get my suspension from Works I can do the rear suspension and also drop in the Fork cartidge.. Gonna get the bike tuned Dave is gonna tune it for me props to him he really helped me the other day to do a starter tune on it so I could get the motor running.. Still have some chrome peices to add on, change my air intake to a full Wimmer Stack. Then still have to get my tins painted which will be towards the end of the month so I am hoping to have the Fatty finished for May hopefully.....
Question for the paint.... Should I get the headlight bucket painted? Its already powder coated gloss black but I was wondering if I should paint the headlight bucket the Pepper Grey??? What do you guys think, also was thinking of the battery box side cover not the battery side the fuse box side thinking of getting that painted Pepper Grey?? What do you guys think???
UPDATE..... Found my tuner gonna use a tuner in PA should be tuned in two weeks he is gonna break in the new motor and tune it. I am not worried about the numbers she is gonna be a nite and day difference I am going from stock basically to 107 with STG 4 heads from Hillside so she should be a beast.
I did do a lets say no no I got rid of the Fat Cat which is a awesome pipe for sure and I am going with Rineharts duals.. That's right duals I know I am gonna leave some power on the table but I just love the Rinehart Crossbacks they are my favorite pipes of all time, and with the new paint job the cross backs in chrome with black end caps is gonna look killer....
Cant beleive I am getting rid of a perfectly new Fat Cat....
That's what I was thinking. Hope you can post up some vids when she is running. If you where closer I would have to see this thing in person.
Hey man take a ride up to Jersey anytime ur welcome up here.... Yeah i will try to take some video of her on the dyno.. I think the new pipes are gonna look great with the new paint and everyhting else I know the duals I am gonna lose some performance over the 2-1 but screw it I think the Crossbacks are one of the nicest pipes out there..
You're right, you will lose some performance not going with the 2-1. You'll probably still be very pleased with the gains compared to where you were before the build.
I wouldn't sweat it. It's important to like the way the bike looks, and for you that means going with the Crossbacks. BTW, I wrestled with the same situation wanting to stick with the Straight Shots, but ultimately deciding to switch to the Fatcats. Funny thing is, after having the Fatcats on the bike for a few months the look and sound really grew on me, and I would never think of going back.
Enjoy the bike!

So I finally finished up the Bob she is at PA as we speak getting a tune to see what my new built 107 motor will do.. I changed some things around a little bit being that I added some chrome to have a nice contrast of chrome and black.. I also decided to do a dual exhaust I was gonna run the Fat Cat which I know is the best for performance but I just cant get with the 2-1 I am a dual exhuast guy so I went with Rinehart Crossbacks in chrome I added a few pics of the motor which is diamond cut aswell and the bike... I will post the sheet once Dave finishes up with her..
When I get her back from tuning she is going into the booth for paint.. My idea is lik the Elanor Mustang base color would be Pepper Grey Metallic and the Gloss Black Racing stripes... But I am starting to second guess changing the color of my bike to a diff color from black only becuase I have so much black on the bike... So I am not sure if i should just do a base color of Gloss Black with a little flake in it and do a diff color stripe to make it pop like a real flaky silver racing stripe with a red pin stripe border or any color stripe that would look good with the gloss black?? Or do you guys think changing the color to Pepper Grey Metallic like my original idea with the gloss black stripes will look good on my bike.... what so you guys think??
