I am not a follower so say, although I have dropped in from time to time to see how the project was coming.

As far as the Arlen Rad III, they look nice, but do you think you'll get enough vision through them at riding speeds.

WE WANT TO SEE PAINT PICS!

lol you're at a waiting period in the build, we're at a waiting period in the thread!

fwiw, i had the ness mini ovals, and for how small they were, they were great on the vision end of things as long as they were adjusted properly.

i'd assume the rad3's would be the same roughly. adjust them right and you shouldnt have a problem.

I hear ya brotha... I cant wait anymore...lol.. Actually my tins are getting sprayed this weekend so by next week the bike should be finally DONE except for my exhaust which is getting chromed at ChromeMasters the person who tuned my bike Blued my Rinehart exhaust all the way to the tips they also damaged my rinehart tips really bad so I had the painter spray the tips Black and use the PPG Silver Star to paint in the Rinehart here is a pic of what he did I would of left the tips alone but they got damaged bad when my bike got tuned the whole exhaust got damaged bad.. Anyway so the exhaust is gonna be a little bit to get re-chromed but everything else should be on the bike.. This weekend I am finishing the final touches on the chrome adding Tranny Top Cover, Clutch Cover, Cam Cover, I ordered the Outer Primary but its on back order and a few other things... So yes hopefully I will be done soon its been a LONG $$$$$$ project never ends

that sucks man, but good thing it's getting done over, and think of it this way...now you don't have to take the pipes off to install your covers.

actually just hearing the word exhaust is making me a little bit ill at the moment.

my bike will be getting dyno'd for the second time in a week tomorrow

Well the tuner wouldnt do anything for me said that blueing is normal but it wsnt the headpipe that blued he blued all the way down to the mufflers I have never seen baffled mufflers blue...... So I have to pay to get them re-chromed..

Whats up with your tune, how come you need to get it re-tuned??

full story is in my thread about my pipe cracking but here's the cliff notes.

pulled heat shields to measure for bct baffles. noticed pipe split down the middle.

brought bike to shop so they could deal with samson and get the work warrantied.

baffles came to my house while bike was in shop.

brought shop baffles, said when new pipe comes in, install these, retune bike.

they installed bct's BEHIND stock baffles, never took stock ones out, tuned bike with 2 baffles in each pipe.

i got bike home, noticed something not right, ripped it all apart, installed the **** right way, now the bike runs pig rich, needs a new map.
