I did the same thing the first time I changed my oil....what a stupid place to put the transmission fluid drain bolt.....never thought i would need a repair manual to change oil
I've done it more than once. Get in to a groove, think you know what your doing and pop out the wrong plug! I keep extra oil just for those days when my brain doesn't join me in the garage.
Yea, I did read the owners manual, I guess just not good enough HAHAHA. I ended up going to pep boys and grabbing some **** called royal purple 75w-90, hopefully it does the job okay. Also ended up with some valvoline 20w50 motorcycle oil for the engine. Oh well, live and learn. Stupid mistake though. Now to get some time in before the rain/snow.
