Default 1st Mud Mod

Bought a Street Bob on New Years Eve and have been lurking here for a couple months and making a few modifications to make the bike "my own."

When I added a detachable windshield to my Street Bob I noticed right away that the stock blinkers really lit up the inside of the windshield when I used them at night.

I used Mud’s idea and turned the blinkers OUT instead of in, and added chrome trim rings to finish it off. This makes a big difference in the amount of glare I get from the blinkers at night. I also added a visor ring to the headlight which got rid of the headlight glare when I use the brights.

Congrats on the new bike! Sounds like a good mod, and easy solution to your glare problem. I think I would have just mounted the directionals on the lower triple tree. No more glare and less clutter on the bars.

...and so it begins. The slippery slope of always f'ing with your bike to adjust this or that and "make it your own". Congrats and welcome
