I don't run a light. Haven't got hassled yet. I mounted mine to the rear upper belt guard bolt.

I got mine from these guys, way cheaper the your buddy and 2 yrs and counting on my bike.

I ran the wire down the swing arm..

I made one and wired it with tyraps. Bought an auxiliary connector so I didn't need to splice into wire harness.
