Hi there,
Did you use 2" wrap for the Short Shots, what length was the roll? Also, how do you find the Burly lowering kit?I was thinking of losing my Progressives and going for the burley's.
I used a 2"x50' roll. It's not the whole kit, I only lowered the rear. The shocks are hard to find too, if you order them from burly's website, burly ships them from one of their vendors (like jpcycles) and they were like a month out. I finally found a new set on ebay from an indy.
Thanks for the info. If I could find a way for the pipe not to melt my boot I would leave it alone. I do like the look of the wrapped pipe though.
I think you could find some small universal heat shields or even cut some down to put right around the area where your boot is touching. You could get creative and drill some holes in them and powder coat them for a real cool look.
