Default ok heres a new guy question

ok i just finished installing a set of forward controls on my 2011 street bob. this is gonna be a dumb question....where do i add the fluid back in? i know it holds about 1qt. there is no hole in the chain drive cover to add fluid. once i figure that out i will be praying that i assembled everything correctly.

Owners manual says pour 1 qt in through the clutch inspection cover opening. I haven't done it though.

1st off get a Factory Service manual because it has everything.

2nd you refill the primary by removing that round cover held in with a torx. Add your quart and put the cover back on.

On the pic below the silver round cover on the primary cover with the 5 torx bolts.

Yes you can adjust your clutch. it's very simple.

You need a 11/16 offset wrench and an allen wrench (don't remember which size).

If you search youtube, there is a very simple video posted by ExpertVillage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qw6da27b1w4

Loosen your clutch cable completely at the adjuster.
Open your derby cover.
Loosen the large (11/16) locknut.
Tighten the adjuster screw (allen) until you see it start to engage the clutch. You'll see the plate in the center start to pull in.
Loosen that adjuster 1/2-1 turn back out.
Tighten locknut.

Adjust clutch cable.

Verify it all engages properly.

Reinstall the derby cover. Shouldn't take more than 15min to do.
