Neither one seem to have a starter that fits my bike. In fact, besides Harley, Drag Specialties seems to be the only other brand with a compatible 1.4 kW.
No help with your delema as to which one to buy but if I could ask what is wrong with your starter? I have an 07 Low Rider and it seems that my bendix drive is going south. It makes a grinding sound every now and then. It sounds like it is not engaging properely. This usually happens after the bike has been ridden for a while and I stop for a little bit and when I go to fire her up is when the starter does not properly engage. Hoping it is just the bendix drive and the parts are available so I do not have to replace the whole starter.
