I use the absorber brand chamois cloth. Works perfect. DON'T use a microfiber cloth....don't ask me why I know not to use one....just feel your bucket up with soap of choice and water and the throw the absorber brand chamois cloth in there and it works PERFECT!!!

Question: I did paint my headlight cover & horn cover. The horn cover was a bit rough & textured. Did I go to heavy at first?

Question #2. Is my bike SCREAMING to have the front fork lowers painted? I would definitely pull the wheel to make things easy on me. I have a can & a 1/2 left.

Thanks.

I just tried this stuff yesterday and the finish isnt quite what I expected I wont be using this stuff I hated it. The only good thing about it is that you can rip it of easy.

Thanks HD. Yeah. I did too. It does leave a heavily textured surface if you put it on thick. Good thing it's easily fixable.

If you clearcoat the plastic-dip then can you still easily peel if off? I'm considering doing my chrome tank console but I don't want a rubbery surface... I want to be able to wipe it with a cloth.

I use absorber brand chamois cloth on mine and it works perfect for cleaning anything with plasti-dip. Even gets the bugs off the lower forks.

I done my tank console and can send ya some pic's this evening if ya want.
