That seems to be the consensus around here too. One of the bosses came in and told me my box would be okay if it was not so ugly. I had to laugh. It is coming off for now. But I am not going to sell it yet. Maybe I'll send it to the painter today and let him whatever he thinks would look good. If I do paint it I don't want it to just be the same color and solid. Any suggestions?
It's looking like John Conely is going to fix my oil leak as I talked to him about it yesterday. It's gonna be a lot of work but I trust the fact that he knows exactly what to do and has everything necessary. Therefore the Dyna god JC will do this.
I was checking out the Race Tech rear shocks yesterday online. I didn't know they made rears too. I still think I will use Howard for my shocks but it is always good to know that there are other options that I didn't know about. And then I'll stick the stockers on the sporty. WooHoo!
I am trying to think what else has to be done after all this stuff. I can't really think of anything else. However I am sure I will find more to do.
The top, the sides? I was thinking the color of the tank for the base top and bottom of the box and then something a little different around the center with red and white striping? Thoughts?

black/white/red w/pinstripe.
but if you have to have white, i would say the mid. Or all black with red/white pinstripe
I got an invoice in email from the powder coater. I think that means my legs and pulley are done. Hopefully the dyna will be back in action by the end of the week. I miss my fairing and the power and handling of the Dyna, especially when it is what we consider freezing here in the morning. It was 45* when I left for work today. That is about as cold as it gets here in SoCal.
I'd say keep the box and use it for touring when needed. I just found a rack for one the other day. I'm planning on using it next summer on a trip to Alaska, but thinking of putting a Jesse box on it.
