The look of no fender is much better, but the practicality is not so much.
Any road debris or water is going straight into your face. If you ride with a full face no problem, otherwise I have always found that it gets old fast, but some prefer it. Sand is the worst.
Here's the thread I followed to get the sigs down there. It's just flat stock steel from home depot an angle grinder, drill and two short bolts that fit the sigs.
I took off the fender because the guy that trued my front wheel sucked *** and the tire was rubbing and I just haven't put back on. I'm kind of digging it anyways and I plan on getting a superbrace eventually. There is really no pros about it other then less stuff to clean. CONS would be puddles or if you ride in the rain. When you go through puddles it flings water up into your face at slow speed. In the rain IMO doesn't matter because you're getting wet anyways.
Put mine under the headlight. Used the same brackets that they were on the handlebars with, just had to drill out the holes a bit so the headlight bolt would fit through. Cheap, Clean and Easy
