My first Harley is an electraglide, love it. Can't see ever getting rid of it , I think I can maneuver around town as well as anyone and its a dream on the road!
I will probably end up with an FLHX but not because it is something I really enjoy riding. The wife always wants to ride with me, and I hate it on the Dyna. I will have to get one just for 2up trips.
I traded my street glide in & got my street bob. I only do a few overnight trips a year so I really didn't need it. For me, it was a good decision.
I am right there with you. I love my Road King, but I do not tour. My riding is in the suburbs and countryside just north or northwest of Atlanta. I hate loosing the saddlebags, but I see a Street Bob in the near future (like the Super Glide Custom too but I want a 103).
If I had the money and a garage, I'd like to have a $40-$50 "dresser" or whatever they cost. I've never ridden one but they seem like they'd be really comfortable.
You can special order the 103 in super glide custom, iirc the ootion is all thst much more. Yes, the 103 is a badass!
Since when? They only way to get the 103 on the Street Bob is to HD-1 the bike. Never seen the option with the FXDC unless this is something they just put out.
